Les Serres du St-Laurent Inc. is a private Québec Corporation whose shareholders are the families of Marie Gosselin, Jacques Gosselin and Yvan Gauvin. Les Serres du St-Laurent Inc. is the sole producer of Savoura tomatoes.

Savoura tomatoes were first grown in 1989, in Portneuf greenhouses, and distributed in eastern Québec. Five years later, with the 1994 acquisition of a greenhouse complex in Danville, near Asbestos, we were able to distribute our tomatoes to eager customers in Montréal. In order to satisfy increasing demand, we bought greenhouses in Ham-Nord and Sainte-Marthe-de-Vaudreuil, in 1995 and 1996 respectively. The acquisition of a fifth greenhouse complex in Saint-Janvier-de-Mirabel in 1998 and the construction of a new greenhouse on the Danville site enabled Savoura to supply its customers continuously throughout the year.

In summer 2007, Savoura built a new, state-of-the-art facility in Saint-Étienne-des-Grès. This new greenhouse complex is heated with biogas from an adjacent landfill site and so helps decrease the production of greenhouse gases.

The complex covers 19 hectares, the equivalent of 37 football fields.
